Made in Asakusa Bag!

I have been thinking of buying new work-bag. Only thing I decided was its made in Japan. One of Japan made popular bag bland is "Yoshida Kaban", and also known as "Porter" bland. Most of their Porter Bags are made in Japan, and because of media exposure, its even known in other countries.

But, I selected Made in Asakusa bag which you can't buy any other places except their factories. When I was working at the magazine company, I encountered "Inujirushi Kaban Seisakujyo" which means "Dog Marked Bag Manufacturer" I only remembered the place where the factory is located. Thanks for Internet, and search engine technology, it did not take so long to find the place. Their bags are made in two factories both located in Asakusa area, downtown Tokyo.

There are sample bags put on the showcase in the factory. Its basically order-made. You can also order it from their website : http://www.inujirushi.net/

Also experimental class is offered.

Welcome to Japan Made Mono Blog!

The hand-made products and real masterpieces that made by traditional skills are now gradually and globally vanishing from the market by the influence of mass-market supremacy principle and brand consciousness. There are unique and valuable products based on superior culture and technology from Japan. Japan has an excellent technology since old time, and has been made the best use of for all products.

My decision to start up this blog is attributed to the fact that I can possibly contribute at least to success "monozukuri culture", tradition and also the old techonology from real Japan made products in the future by let the world know. The key word is "Cool but Tradition".

-- Kosuke Nakamura
